Topic:

Across the nation, communities are trying to organize their services so that families can use them more easily, especially to prevent duplication and gaps in services and resources. This conference will focus on the work of four communities, Augusta, Maine; Lewiston, Idaho; Pocatello, Idaho; and Jefferson County, Missouri. Community successes in the following areas will be covered.

  • coordinating early intervention and the medical home
  • interagency screening and referral
  • promoting infant mental health into community's system of care

Community and state provides and administrators, family members who want to learn how to organize services so that families can use them more easily. The internet conference will be particularly geared toward existing community task forces and councils dedicated to improving the integration of community services and resources for young children and their families.

Participants will be able view the entire conference using a desktop computer with internet access and real player or better.
